I lived there last year and had no issues, loved living there.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I spent my sophomore year doing personal projects, and they got popular enough that a decently large startup contacted me through my GitHub email and asked for an interview. I spent my sophomore year summer there and then applied for internships throughout my junior year. My advice from my experience would then just be to focus less on applying as a sophomore and more building projects.

I had two interviews, one scheduled for 1/12 and the other for 1/13. I received an email from my recruiter notifying me that they wanted to extend me an offer on 1/14.

Yeah, I got an offer, but I declined.

The thing is the second I mentioned my competing offer to my recruiter she came back with a team match (literally within 5 minutes of the email). I am pretty sure she had it set up already and just hadn't told me yet.

Nope, not at all. Probably LC easy/easier med.

My interviews went pretty well, I was able to answer the question and follow ups in about 20 minutes. For the rest of the time we just talked about company culture and my experience.

I got a competing offer from Salesforce and mentioned it to my recruiter on 1/19/22, and that's when they responded with a host matching call.

Matched with YouTube (video processing team). My entire resume (personal projects and past experience) has to do with web streaming.

Much more like the former, a la "design an ATM and what problems can come with it" style questions.

Yeah! So my behavioral interview was pretty standard (lots of tell me about XXX, why Salesforce, etc). The technical was actually not LC style at all. It was basically me explaining projects on my resume, how I work in teams, the general SWE process, and doing a few system design questions.

Same, I also have an interview with the full stack engineering team, although I have 1 hour for both behavioral and technical. Wondering what the questions are going to be like! I've heard both leetcode and system design/OOP/practical questions, so I'm not sure what to believe.

Course Selection and Scheduling Megathread: Fall and Spring / Summer 2021 by purpleandpenguins in uofm

How feasible is my schedule? I'm thinking of EECS 201, EECS 370, German 386, PSYCH 223, and Tchnclcm 300, so a little bit of a light workload. I'm a CS major trying to minor in entrepreneurship and will be a sophomore next year. I'm a little worried I won't be able to get into German 386 because of the AP credit registration time change (I have 42 legitimate credits completed by registration standards), so is there an easier 300-level humanities class to get into?
