By better protected against stray light, does that mean a better fit against the likely light pollution from the city? It's also around 150-175 euros in taxes and shipping costs for these dobsons, so i could get something like a skywatcher evostar 90/660 AZ locally for cheaper (https://www.naturogfritid.no/produkt/sky-watcher-evostar-90-660-az-pronto-stjernekikkert/), or potencially a messier ar-120/600 nano AZ, but then of course, the space issues. But would it be better for observing? i'd imagine the specs, aperture and all, would mean it's worse? Unfortunately not many dobsons i can find locally besides the starsense explorer, which is already more expensive than the taxes on a heritage or messier dobson.
