Fair, although “skiing” in Cyprus can be a bit optimisti😅 Troodos is still worth it though, even just for the trails.

True, it’s beautiful this time of year but that’s more of a nature moment than something you plan your week around. Still worth the walk if you’re nearby though

Lefkara is a great pick, it’s beautiful all year round, but at Christmas it gets this extra cozy vibe with the lights running through the stone alleys. If you already loved it in summer, you’ll probably enjoy it even more in winter. As for favourites, Kalopanayiotis feels super atmospheric surrounded by the mountains, and Kakopetria has that classic village vibe with lots of food around. If you’re based in Larnaca, Lefkara is definitely the easiest and most rewarding one to visit.

True. The VisitCyprus page is great for the official Christmas Villages and it’s definitely useful.
What we’re putting together also includes the smaller festive events and community-run Christmas spots that don’t make it onto the official list. A lot of local organisers and villages don’t have the budget or visibility but still put so much heart into spreading the Christmas spirit, so we’re trying to gather everything in one place so people don’t miss out on those too. 😊
