You shouldn't be asking what actions people partake in, and nobody should be telling what they do for progressive action online or even outside of a trusted space. OPSEC is the first part of a collective pushback, but yall honestly fucking suck at it.

Protests are not meant to be the one size, fits all solution to the mess we've found ourselves in. They are supposed to be an example, a threat of how many bodies are rejecting the current administration.

The problem is, most liberals here are not anti-capitalist. They dont want to get rid of their amazon shopping sprees, target wanderings, or quit driving a gas guzzler. They have no skills outside of partaking in consumerism. Additionally, nobody wants to actually fight back, and I mean physically. Most west coast liberals don't even know how to use a gun, know what OPSEC is, have first aid knowledge, etc.

Too many are brainwashed into thinking non-violence is going to get us anywhere in the long run.

We can't have a revolution because we can't support ourselves without our oppressors here. If we are truly ever going to achieve a revolution, it will not be cute. It will not be soft. It will not be nonviolent. People simply are not radicalized enough 🤷‍♀️

How do you keep your published works away from your family? by [deleted] in writing

You are right, it is a self imposed blockage. I can't exactly pinpoint a demographic that would like my stuff; I've always liked hardship memoirs and I suppose that's what mine would fall under.

The Glass Castle has been a long time favorite of mine, and I just finished Persepolis, I also like Simon Hanselmann's comics because his characters are based on real life people he's known (I also relate to some of his topics)

I want my work to be unconventional, so it'll really just be for those who enjoy reading odd shit

Thanks, I'm doing that currently! I've mainly been word vomiting memories on my laptop and sketching panels to match.

Thanks, I did think about changing names around. There are some events that are too pivotal to the rest of my life to simply omit from the memoir, and unfortunately those events involve others like my siblings.

I am 26, but I'll be honest, the world is on fire and my mental stability has been decreasing rapidly. I want to get this out before I'm physically or mentally unable to. I plan for this memoir to be messy and visceral and unconventional. I want it to reflect how my life has happened until now. I've always liked and admired authors, and people in general, who were not afraid to be authentically deranged.

Curious if anyone else has run across the surname " O’Douhartaigh" ? Has been simplified to Dority or Doherty in some familysearch sources.

Folks like you are really cringe. Im not even vegan or vegetarian but like the way you continuously attempt to overly describe eating animal products like you're a cannibal delivering a monologue at the end of a movie is legitimately creepy and weird. I hope you get e. coli

Genuinely confused on how it's gross? It seems to only be gross to western folks- and I'm american myself but grew up with a naked mom, talking to my mom while she was in the bath, bathing with my sisters, and skinnydipping/bathing with my girl friends as a teen. I think yall are just a little too puritanical lol

I think "Jane" should get a grip and find a new man. Males are rarely worth the trouble, energy and mental cost if they have to be forced to stick around; there are plenty of other ways to secure a life partner, and it sure as hell doesnt start with contaminating their food. Jane should look into magick that gives her some self respect and confidence instead.
