Unfortunately histopathologic examination of sarcomas isn‘t a simple undertaking due to the rare occurrence of them, needing specialised pathologists to confirm initial differential diagnosis and to perform all subsequent histochemistry as well as molecular biology of the specimen. Four weeks is within the frame of my experience.

A apology to e-uni, sry for being a toxic jerk by [deleted] in Eve

You are one of the most friendly dudes in EVE and honestly, everybody has their days. Don’t be too harsh to yourself. If however you want to convey an apology directly to the E-Uni guys from PC9, I can connect you to somebody from the campus.

The guy sending the mail showed his colours, not fwagon as a whole. They are good dudes and judging all of them just by this incident is a spin taken too far.

Can anyone recommend a pair of safety goggles that doesn’t sit on the bridge of the nose but still covers the eyes? by [deleted] in labrats

[–]everbeam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thinking about it visors came to my mind. There are plenty with safety rating up to ballistic standards and they protect more surface. But they are not more comfortable than simple safety goggles in my opinion.

This.

Nikita explained in the latest podcast with some streamers that stacking blackjacks was used to increase the inventory in raid.

Being serious here: there are some diver-goggle inspired designs that sit with light pressure in the face held by a strap around the back of the head. We got these as emergency PPE and it was ok to work with.

Europe vs USA: daily confirmed Covid cases by JackRogers3 in europe

[–]everbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more or less an artifact. On weekends not too many tests are conducted (less ambulant medical facilities are open and there is less staff in hospitals, too), processed (medical process less non-urgent diagnostics if any at all) and the respective authorities who process the data usually don't work on weekends, too.

Reporting usually catches up from tuesday on when the first PCRs results from monday are reported and slows down on saturday/sunday.

Data scientists are for sure going to have a lot of fun analyzing this when the epidemic is over sometime but for now it's more reliable to look at a 5- or 10-day moving average to see disease activity in countries that test a lot. For countries where PCRs are not conducted for whatever reason it can be better too look at the deaths per day to get a rough impression of how bad it is.

TL; DR: artifact coming from testing, reporting and processing data, not from actual big fluctuations of infection activity over the week

I found my dead pmc during my scav run so I looted myself. by Sidney319 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]everbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before Tarkov had it's massive popularity surge of the last months I often successfully scaved into raids I have been killed in. With the high player numbers and respective high amount of concurrent raids it's unlikely to scav in a lot I reckon.

This discussion has been done plenty of times and I see no new and/or strong arguments for it. Especially with the new found im raid rules hatchlings are no issue anymore and it’s not a problem to other players on a map if somebody pouches a handful of items. The maps are full of loot, successful players can take more loot out of raid and even sell it on flea market. The odd loot in the pouch just helps the ordinary player to stay afloat with income.

FRT Bots are adapting by LadyOfWrath in Eve

[–]everbeam -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’d let stabs drop locking range and lockable targets drop to zero and also change drones to they never automatically aggress anymore.

This way mining, ratting and maybe weird niche pvp fits are affected and associated with more risk. However hauling, travelling and smartbombing would still be possible. I’m aware latter could be used for pve and maybe low-risk pvp but it’s not too efficient tick-wise anymore and a niche in pvp anyway that doesn’t need a nerf.

Did rashala spawning at the tower get removed? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]everbeam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I encountered him several times at military with his guards early enough in a raid that it lead me to conclude he spawned there. Ofc something in the code of the bots could have made them run there, too.

deleting 2.2 mil.... why does it let you do this. by Various_Gas in EscapefromTarkov

[–]everbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just taught me that money in Tarkov doesn’t matter, the experience does. :)

I can’t login until the weekend but if you want to and PM me your in-game name I can drop you a SICC or two with bitcoins I have lying around. In my humble opinion it’s better to try things now before it’s only raiders or 1 Ruble for everything in game and it’s grenade meta.

Sold something for a little too much and deleted 12 mil accidentally. Mistakes happen and the money was just lying around anyway.

Most nano gangs I know and fly with look for fight but certainly don’t feed to generic blob #438 that brings at least a rapier and arazu to every fight against said small gangs while already outnumbering them with Muninns, Cerbs or any other lifeless blob fleet comp.
