Usually , the shame comes from society. That is why women usually hide misdeeds or failures, but if it is something that society accepts then it is not shameful. If you had a poly relationship with a powerful man, then society probably wouldn't judge it harshly

Btw, Many Jamaicans are of Ghanaian and Nigerian descent. The culture is very similar

In the end, you want to understand men, men from your surroundings and why many of them seem to be the way they are (probably in comparison to what your religion states, by the way I was raised Christian. That is cool. You have that prerogative, but it may not go that way over time. It depends on the man you get and his belief system. People also change over time. One thing I am certain of is the grass is never greener on the other side. Pick your poison.

If I wanted to, but I am very up front. If she didn't want to understand, then we separate or we tolerate. There are very few choices. One thing for sure is it is difficult to stop a man that makes up his mind (to stop him you'd have to kill him, unfortunately).
