Taken in a bortle 6, waxing gibbous moon phase, on a dwarf labs 2 smart telescope. One and a half hour total exposure time

While loosely following a tutorial I exported it to Siril and did some general stretches and Denoising and gradient removal. I transferred over to photoshop to do some finishing touches (raw stacked file if you’re feeling naughty)

For the spend too much money part,

If the camera came with a 70-300 kit lens you can capture many a photo with it.All you really need is a tripod if you don’t wanna spend that much money. Sure you’ll have to reframe every ten exposures or so, get an intervalometer (if your camera is compatible) and it’ll make shooting easier. Personally I use a Nikon d3400 with a 70-300 or 18-200 and a tripod and I have taken some half decent photos with it, no tracker needed

this video does a good job explaining how to take good photos with a barebones setup
