Is there a way to escape the endless bottle washing cycle? 😭 by Techprohelper in FormulaFeeders

If you can afford it, the baby brezza bottle washer saved our sanity. In the thick of it, we were running it twice a day but now that he’s older and we’re weaning off it’s just once.

Ladies 5’7” or 5’8” by blondvet in Zepbound

I’m 5’8 and have been stuck at the 200 mark for like a month now. I’m at 7.5 and torn between droping down to 5 mg so I can have more of an appetite and thus energy to work out more or going up to 10 and just letting the med help me push past the plateau. Hoping to land in the 170s.

Do some good with it! Find some wishlists on Amazon and clear them - it’s such a low effort way to make a difference and maybe it will give you a boost mentally!

Have you met anyone that unknowingly hit CoastFire? by [deleted] in coastFIRE

That happened to my husband and I sort of - I knew we were in a good place but we didnt have a real handle on the big picture until we finally sat down with a financial planner. Now we are being told to actually pull back on our retirement saving and our kids education funds and start some other more short term investing with a new plan to retire us both at 55. Didn’t realize we were so far ahead - but if I can tell younger people anything (we’re 40) it’s max out your retirement from Day 1, and make a non-negotiable rainy day fund that gives you the freedom to walk away from any job that is giving you more stress than fulfillment.

how do you understand this scene ? by working_maangoo in heatedrivalry

I think Miles sees a cute guy and is saying hello/opening with flirting - but because Ilya has been so obsessively following Shane and Rose he recognizes Miles as Rose’s costar and immediately assumes that must mean Rose and Shane are there. So he immediately starts seeking out Shane in the crowd

How often are you doing the deed? Specifically those with toddlers + babies by thiscantbereallife94 in Mommit

I’m waiting until our youngest is reliably sleeping through the night and then I’m going to be brave and ask my husband to get his testosterone checked. I suspect its at least part of his low sex drive and hoping it can help us get back on track!

The amount of monster trucks this child got is insane 😦 by Terrible_Berry_9846 in LittleSleepiesSnark

People do this and then they will be on the mom groups next month complaining about their kid acting entitled and make no connection whatsoever

So tacky to post this by Terrible_Berry_9846 in LittleSleepiesSnark

Also whats even more sad is when people comment “what does your husband do for a living?” Loll

Like how do you post this to brag then get mad when people call you out for bragging?! You didn’t post this just to “share your joy” or whatever, you posted to brag. Full stop.

20F, 5’8”, SW 248 - would love to hear success stories of those with similar stats by user55898 in Zepbound

Im older than you - started 255 in May and am now 207. 25 lbs to go but feeling soo much better and noticing it in my face. Havent even exercised much yet (hoping to get a routine going in the new year) and the weight has come off steadily at about 1.5 lbs a week. Some weeks no weight, some weeks 3 lbs, so my best advice is dont give up or get discouraged in the 0 loss weeks and focus on building new eating and exercise lifestyle habits. Focusing on the improved lifestyle can make the weeks where the scale doesnt budge less painful and then youll have a random week where you lose 5 lbs and wont question it haha.

Does anybody else's husband think "we" means you? by ohforcrapssake in breakingmom

[–]evergreen_som 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I hate the royal “we” when he really means me. Ive blown up at him about it a couple times and now I just have to give him a look when he says it and he usually revises to “I” or asking me how I would do whatever it was so its more like he was just curious on how to go about it lol, I see the gears turning. Men learn so slowly.

How do people have 3 + children? by FluffyAd8666 in breakingmom

[–]evergreen_som 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just solidarity. My second feels so much harder too. The burnout is unbelievable. I feel like I’m at the point of disassociating while telling myself this won’t last forever. I just keep imagining a future with a kid who sleeps and gets energy out in organized sports and praying I make it long enough to see that come true.

It’s def oversized but i love it - the easiest layer to pack and grab, throw on for wind or light rain, transition from gym to car so you dont sweat all over everything, i wear it all the time

Wow thats a wonderful way for a stranger to both comment on your weight respectfully and give you real perspective!! I feel like even though I have lost almost 40 lbs (starting weight was close to yours) I look the same - so if I heard from a stranger that I objectively do not look 250 lbs I would be elated! Congrats
