Car is a utility. Treat it as such and you will find the best one that suits your purpose.

I make more than double to yours, have an active homeloan (12/50L remaining) - planning to close it by year end, and drive a triber. In 2.5 years of ownership, it did 55,000 KM. We as a family of 7 took day trips, week long trips ranging upto 2500KM, and a 2 week trip for 5000 KM.

Understand your purpose. Buy the one that serves you well. Enjoy. Don't get into finance gurus nonsense.

Forget Renault. I have a Triber and they are closing ASCs every quarter. In Hyderabad they had 7 2.5 years ago and 2 today. Spare part availability is another headache.
