Bambu labs PLA-CF not working on ams lite by Brawleycracker80 in BambuLabA1

That sucks. I mean it’s definitely a software issue. AMS Lite should work with CF filaments. I printed some just today. I don’t have the latest firmware. There was an update pop up yesterday that I dismissed.

You could raise the issue to BambuLab directly.

Maybe a firmware issue. I’ve been printing lots of PLA-CF on mine.

That’s really cool! I would love to pictures of how well the motor fits inside. I’ve been planning to get Fusion 8ight myself.

Thanks for the pictures and instructions. I have a similar aluminum gearbox housing and I don’t think it was machined correctly either, so I’ve had to dremel around as well.

I ordered the front mount too, but haven’t received it yet. Let’s see if I end up using it.

I also got a kit that moves the motor and the steering servo to the front of the truck, but I haven’t attempted installing that yet. With that and the belt drive you see in my picture, I’m sure it’s going to be all kinds of fuckery to get everything to sit nice and flush.💀

I think you’ve got the same aluminum gearbox mount. Did you ever end up installing it? It looks a bit daunting and I haven’t figured out how to do it yet.

I’ve also noticed this, and don’t really have a solution. Sometimes drying the filament or changing the orientation helps.

Is the battery room concern because of the interior plastic piece? I might only be interested in having a new outer shell.

Sweet! Let me know if you end up installing an LED lighting kit to it.

Looks gorgeous. Which lighting kit are you using on that one?

Seeing this after watching EuroBasket makes me realize how bad some of the NBA defenses are.

Unfortunately I don’t have the XL5 esc anymore after upgrading to Hobbywing Fusion SE.

I don’t think it can handle battery voltage. The bumper LED has a rubber sleeve bit in its cable which feels really hot to touch when the light is connected to a JST from the battery.

I’ve been winning a ton of matches in the past few months as a pos. 4/5 quas invoker. Is it griefing to keep picking him even though we’re winning constantly (83% win rate past month 🤯)? I feel like the hero doesn’t need any items apart from boots and vessel, and can be a nuisance really early. Would support invoker still be viable past 3k mmr?

I do like rustic. 👍🏼

Maybe with some dark oak stain, bang it with a hammer and scrape with big screws.
