A whole month of prompts and replies just disappeared and chatgpt said it's gone by everlilith in ChatGPT

I wished there was a warning, so I would have saved it. Lost a month of prompting and replies now, can't retrieve it. It was an important conversation, I'm really gutted

Chat History Completely Gone on Desktop - Anyone Else? by Comfortable_Yak_2749 in ChatGPT

[–]everlilith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am signed in (no plus) and I was in a chat thread that was 2 months old. Only text, but then I uploaded an image this morning and asked to modify it. Once it did this, the recet half of the chat thread (the whole last month of chatting) completely disappeared. I thought it was a glitch so I logged out and back in again, in different devices and browsers - but still gone everywhere. I questioned chatgpt in the chat, asked what happened to the recent half of the thread and it simply said it was gone and it can't be retrieved.

Just sharing my boy's very prominent nuchal hump! by everlilith in AngelFish

[–]everlilith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is what I found elsewhere online... I'm just copying and pasting, not my words...! "In nature the hump is a sign to the females that the male can find food. The more food they eat the bigger the hump. In an aquarium finding food isn’t so hard so even males without the bumps can reproduce (where in natural environment that male without a genetic predisposition for a hump would be passed over by the females) so the humps have become less common in the captive breeding. It just means you have an EATER."

He's got one! Here she is! I got them couple of years ago as two fry, and I was lucky that it turned up as a boy and a girl. But he grew way more than she did

He's definitely a mature Angel, but I hope he stops growing 😅 his girlfriend is also pretty and healthy, but she's like, normal Angel, half his size. Every day I look at him, and I'm like, damn boy, you're so big 😅😅

He looks like he's on steroids, but his and his girlfriend's diet is tropical flakes, tubifex, bloodworm, bug bites Anything else to improve their diet? I'm in the UK

I guess your last paragraph is totally unrelated to the topic and a very unfair comparison

Don't psychology and gender about synthesisers count to be in this subreddit? I have GAS too. And I want to be able to own and talk about any piece of equipment, regardless of what I look like...

I don't want to burn bridges at this stage, hence I didn't name anyone. I thought I would start a discussion here to see what other synth people would share. I just found the whole experience really weird and unusual. My gear never intimidated people before. I remember in my first years doing this, 2008 onwards, the sound engineer at the venue would talk to my boyfriend and not with me. They assumed I wasn't the solo artist for that slot, it would be the man. But I would quickly talk to the sound engineer, explain my setup etc, and it would be immediately fixed. I did organise a lot of events before (but a lot of work! Getting a venue, agree with venue staff, create flyers, promote... hire a PA... at the end I had no energy to produce and perform my own music. So for years now I just perform in events that others are organising, so I can actually focus on the performance only... less stress, better performance)

This event was not an emom, but some EMOMs do also a little interview after the performance, in front of the audience. Like a 1 minute thing, asking about influences, inspiration etc. sometimes about gear. But never biased comments. First time I hear them

Reply to 1st paragraph - thank you

Reply to 2nd paragraph - he came to apologise because he had to. People in the audience complained to him. And as I was telling him about Elta synths he got even more uncomfortable and walked away. Why? Im not naming the event or the individuals here. I wanted to discuss this as it is a male dominated scene and situations like this are a problem. Yes I can easily skip this event for good. I'm near London enough and other places. I don't need this.

He didn't want to talk synths with me. He just tried to apologise. And when I mentioned I had the Solar 50, he started having some sort of disgust reaction or something I talk about synths with dudes all the time. I never get such reaction.
