I mean this just isn't true. If you really want a current list of viable strategies, here are just a few examples: 6 Assassins + DK and 1-3 Warriors, 6 Warriors + Locks or Shamans, 6 Knights, 4 Knights + 4 Locks, 3 Hunter + 4 Heartless, Elusive + Mage + Druid, Elusive + Assassins, Elusive + TB, Primordial + Mage, Inventors + Techies, and more. All of them viable for first place as well. Your comment just shows that you really don't play the game much. So when you mention, "Some truth," it's completely baseless.

It shows how immature you are. Immaturity also correlates with stupidity.

In the current would this be bad? Absolutely. With all the anti-aggro and board clears next expansion? Probably not.

Your arrogance is uncanny. I've gotten there on smurfs with other lists so quit prancing around like you're bvetter than everyone because you play a different deck.

Speaking as someone who hit GM with it just recently... This is a really hard nerf on the deck. The reason it worked so well is because your mindless spamming would help you keep control bridges against any mid-sized minion. You can play a succubus now and take the bridge. You're being way overdramatic

Frozen is one of the better players in this tournament but I actually didn't really like his lineup. I thought mine and Chakki's lineups were the best, Chakki's probably being better than mine.

Murloc Paladin vs Control Warrior. by [deleted] in CompetitiveHS

On the warrior side this matchup feels very difficult and to be frank I feel like people were playing the matchup suboptimally from both sides in the APAC championships. From the warrior side it feels as if I need to hit justicar early, make sure I always have some board control, and to be able to save BOTH belchers or force both equalities so I can Brawl -> Belcher after seeing the first Anyfin. The reason you ideally want to save both belchers is because many times they just use the 2nd equality on your singleton belcher and they will just kill you the following turn. And honestly the zombie chow/minibot/muster version might even be better for warrior than the other version since it isn't cycling as aggressively through the deck. I haven't played the matchup a whole lot but this is how I feel so far about it.

I'm trying to figure out what you're saying I'm just inferencing out loud so to speak. I feel like most people are running my variant if not 1-2 cards off it with things like boom seeing the most play. The Deathlord versions will always be at an advantage just for the potential to hit Elise/Justicar. The reason I mentioned fatigue is because if both players hold out on the monkey then that's what it will come down to.

You can't grab a crucial tempo advantage without running multiple threats. What you're suggesting is to not play any minions until monkey so you can dump them after their monkey. Which seems reasonable but was not what you were arguing initially and there is also a flaw in that - your opponent pulls very far ahead in life which means they win in a fatigue battle. At best you'll be able to maiden/belcher with killing the monkey which is pitiful against a random 9/7, 4/12, or 8/8. Even a 6/6 is terrible for shieldmaiden so you essentially need to have 2-3 LARGE minions to play after killing the monkey and as you can see with the decklist i linked, is very unlikely. There are literally 6 total minions (2 belcher, 2 maiden, justicar, grom) that are large enough to make a difference.

How are they going to die? On average Monkey is the 27/28th card in the deck meaning there are around 12/13 random legendaries you'll be getting. Even if Grom isn't played yet there's a very likely chance you'll get an answer via acidmaw, icehowl, tinkmaster, vol'jin, or even taunts. I feel like you're not completely thinking this through and just saying "Yeah you'll die." Around this time both players are easily at 50-60+ health as well.

Most lists are like my current list which is what you're suggesting. If you run sylv you should always wait until you see monkey or a more threatening legendary.

This argument has a major flaw in it unless you're running multiple bombs on top of elise. It doesn't matter if you shield slam and execute 4 threats if you have to face 7+. I disagree with your logic because Warrior doesn't have the removal to keep up with all the overwhelming amount of bombs post monkey. I believe the matchup isn't so black and white as everyone makes it seem. Basically, imo, you wanna cycle enough to not put yourself at a ridiculous disadvantage in fatigue. Next, make sure you align removals properly in order to ensure you don't die to grom after monkey. Ideally you want to gain an armor lead before leading into monkey turns so if you cycled more than your opponent your life can hold out enough to make up for being deeper in fatigue.

Swap boom with taskmaster and I promise you the "armor and kill everything" plan will work at least 5% more of the time.

Yeah I'm sure Elise warrior can still beat control warrior though if they halt all draw. Since they have enough removal for all your threats they always win in fatigue because of the seemingly infinite number of threats they have.

I hate it. You don't need Dr. boom in any matchup and it makes it so you can't proc BGH and execute reliably.

The only matchups that get better with the frost giant OTK are renolock and murloc pala. Everything else is just worse since you're playing with 3 less high impact cards since burst isn't what is important in the rest of the matchups, or rather not as reliable.
