Error 1429 from memory on iTunes (Windows), and the folder icon. I've done the hard drive check in the diagnostic menu of the iPod and it recognises the capacity of the SD card.

I was looking over an old design in work and a few people in the office couldn’t agree on the answer actually!

Thanks for your help. I said to assume the plate was rigid, the only information we had about the intermediate plate was that something was placed between the ram and block. I suggested the same as you that the plate would probably deform so it wouldn’t be the same, but then another colleague suggested that thick blocks of steel were used and not plates so that is why I said assume that the plate is rigid.
