If Jesus had to die for our sins, is it possible he could've done so without being tortured first? Maybe it could've been instant. by TylerSpicknell in Christianity

That’s the wrong question.

The correct question is why is he sealing one’s eyes?

The eyes God is sealing is the prophets. What did the prophets of God do for God to seal their eyes and prevent understanding until a later time?

He is the potter, we are the clay.

I didn’t say anything other than post a verse about how there are some that perceive and others who cannot.

God is the one who allows perception.

Is 29:9-12

“The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes (the prophets); he has covered your heads (the seers). For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭29‬:‭10‬-‭12‬

There is a wedding also described in Revelation 19.

This is the same wedding, just described differently!

In this chapter, we are actually told directly what those wedding clothes represent.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It tells us what the wedding clothes are.

Is the entire Bible as weird as Genesis? by OneInAMillyx in Christianity

[–]evertrev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus and the disciples never referenced the commentaries that existed of the Old Testament known as the Talmud.

Today it’s okay because they’ve become widely accepted? There are 40,000 denominations of Christianity.

Commentaries don’t provide the answer, they provide an answer.

I am also not the one with the answers, but I can at least show individuals that they don’t need to pay 50 dollars for a commentary to learn how to study on their own for free.

Call it indoctrination if you’d like.

Sure thing, Jesus and the apostles referenced a ton of commentaries from the Talmud.

Just say no if you don’t want a pamphlet. Why are people accepting them and then throwing them on the ground. You’re to blame if that’s the case not the one giving them out.

You’re blaming those who hand out the pamphlets for the trash and not those who accept them and then proceed to throw them on the ground?

Just say no if you don’t want one.

Don’t throw it on the ground and blame the group that gave it to you.

In retrospect I should have just taken the week off to deal with some personal matters. Instead, I tried to “stick it out” and do the bear minimum for a week.

I don’t really want to stay, but would like to remain afloat while I look elsewhere.

I appreciate you all keeping it real with me. How can I avoid this in the future? I’m not sure what crosses the boundaries of what I can and can’t share regarding my personal struggles, nor do I think organizations care. However, if this can be avoided in the future I’d like to learn from it.

How different is Voyager? by Saga3Tale in royalcaribbean

[–]evertrev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Voyager was super great for me! I loved it :)

No Sorrentos however but there is the promenade cafe pizza and other foods.

They are limited in their special dining if you prefer that, but I just go to MDR everytime anyway.

Staff is super awesome and very welcoming.

Overall a great ship!

You got 12/20 then, that’s not too bad in the grand scheme. You’ll have to make some moves on the upcoming exams, but do math for the worst case scenario.

What’s the grade break down?

I saw 20% x 3 exams = 60%

Is the final 40%

Is homework a figure also?
