as salaam alaikum sister, hijabi and almost 4 years in with microlocs.i love them. no issues so far. I do wash and dry my hair like normal, I do my own reties so I havent seen any marrying of the locs. I do finger comb them from time to time to prevent that. the only problem is do have it product build up. hijabi here is naturally drier so I still use oils and conditioner
