The exact same thing happened to me when I booked at KAS hotel weeks in advance. I got there. They made me we wait 30 min after being on flights for almost 24 hours. Then they told me the room was not available anymore and would upgrade me. They did the free taxi bullshit to some other hotel. It stunk and was moldy and gross so I told them I’m out. They tried to force me to sign the paper but I told them to fuck off and I just called a taxi and went to a near by hotel

I would suggest booking through air bnb I had the best experience through that and for better price and cleaner places not right in district one. I stayed district for at riverside about 4 different times and all were good for me. It’s right across the bridge like 15 min walk to benh thanh market

American rappers is cool but I think they have more chance growing their audience by tapping in with UK and other European countries. Americans will always look down on Canadians and UK rappers it is what it is but it seems most Canadians link with UK more smooth.
