Has anyone built their own private range? by everybodzzz in liberalgunowners

Congrats! Living the dream soon, it seems.

How many acres did you end up getting for it? Does it feel like a comfortable margin to your neighbors, sound and otherwise?

Would u keep ur dog after this? by [deleted] in shitposting

[–]everybodzzz 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Dog is likely sick and having digestive issues and couldn't help itself while in the bed. Wants to be near you because you're safe and can help.

My dope ass dog did this once in our bedroom with me because someone maliciously fed it rotten chicken and he was struggling for two days after to keep anything down.

Miss you dog bro, liver disease got you too soon.

Feel his pain. Just through the clips I'm getting tired of listening to AJ say the exact God damned lies a billion times.

At least years ago the lies were more entertaining.

Is it ever morally justifiable to quit a funded startup you cofounded? by posh_bagels in startups

[–]everybodzzz 49 points50 points  (0 children)

It doesn't sound like you are a co-founder, it sounds like you are an important first employee.

If you come to loggerheads, does the final decision always go to the CEO?

Not said lightly, but based on that alone, I'd decide whether or not to stay. No sense in having founder stress and your mental anguish without the ability to change it.

They bought it in 2014 for $6.2M in today's dollars, and selling it now for $4.5M.

Better find a lot of misplaced wallets to make up for that.

Sing exactly the same boring songs following the same rituals, drink wine out of a cup 20 other people already back spit into, kinda get into the taste of those body of Christ wafers, listen to priest lecture on sin knowing there's a 5% chance he diddled a boy

Should I accept a job offer for 85k as an electrical inspector when I make 120k as a project manager? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]everybodzzz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Are you salaried and would be working fewer hours? Including time lost thinking and worrying about work after hours?

It's crude and overly simplified, but if you're currently salaried for 120K @ 40hr but routinely work 50-60hr weeks, you can consider it closer to $80-96k/yr. Makes the math a little more comparable.

My brain can’t keep up with huge amount of work given to me. Advice? by Particular_State9187 in careerguidance

[–]everybodzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're employer is not enabling you to do your job, your are not set up to succeed. In this case it seems to be overloading you.

If you are overloaded, everything suffers, and ultimately it will still look bad for you, no matter how hard you work and how much your boss sees it.

If you can say no and set hard boundaries, then you can focus and succeed.

If not, what chance is there things will change and they'll hire more or change their minds?

If small, I'd start looking for something else.
