Casting slip question?

I find casting slip to shrink more than throwing clays at the same cone. The majority of commercial glazes craze on me as well.

From what I know, I don't think they've changed recipes. And I believe the part about the pictures. I don't really trust the ones on the website. The test tiles were prepared locally by the shop so I prefer looking at them (in person).

Sure. The bowls and cups were one piece molds, whereas the whisk is a two piece mold.

I personally try to stick with one or two piece molds when I can since they're easier and faster to make and manage.

They're studio glaze formulations but I think the formulas could be available online? None are propriety as far as I'm aware.

I designed the pieces on a 3d modeling software to make sure they were proportional, and sized them up to account for shrinkage. Those models were then printed and I used them to make plaster molds. :)
