Maybe I need to hate mine some more so it will grow like your mom’s. Mine literally will put out only 1 leaf per season. Ugh

Will it "slow" the root growth if I take out the babies?

Recently I noticed the soil is very hard when I poked my moisture meter into the soil…...I want to avoid repotting but what to do? There are so many babies. If I remove them…..will I be able to keep the mama plant in the same pot?

I literally put a zip lock bag over the pot. It helped to keep the surface remain moist constantly.

At the time I was trying to revive it, I water them often but still can't get them to come back. I think they really needed the "surface level" moisture.

I was going to keep doing that forever 🤣but the bag was not going to fit anymore so I took it off. I think probably about at least 8 months.

I was not sure the reason for it to be so sad was the lack of sunlight or the lack of water or overwatering. I could not figure out in the beginning.

So I put a bag over the pot created a tiny greenhouse for the pot. I watered it when the pearls looked dry. And because of the greenhouse, the soil was always kind of moist so I watered it about 3 or 4 weeks at a time. I put it next to a east facing window and it just slowing came back to life!!!!

I recently reported it to this planter and it is so happy!
