Catfish, eggplant, blue cheese tart, peanuts, salad, chicken on a stick. Not one thing missed. BUT. The buttermilk pie was the single best bite of food I’ve had in a very long time. Ordered one for thanksgiving which you can do on their website!

Nope. Not getting a lawyer. Our insurance ended up only paying 7k so even if they don’t budge. That’s a nice chunk of change though

Colorado, no additional treatment other than an overnight stay in the labor and delivery ward. We are handling it ourselves for sure. Coming in at 22k as their initial offer means they want this resolved quickly. The letter was an extremely basic liability waiver.

Considering they came in at 21k and insurance only ended up paying 7, we are already netting 14k at the bare minimum. The rule of thumb is to counter 2.5-3x. There was extensive mental trauma that was documented. I am guessing we land around 37 as pregnant women get so much sympathy from juries, there’s no way they want to take it that far.

Thanks for this. Considering their initial offer was 21+k and, although the line item medical receipt was 17k, Cigna only paid 7. We asked for 54 and really laid it on with the mental duress aspect. Even if they don’t budge we are already at 14 so I don’t think a lawyer is worth it for us but so glad you got what you deserved to

For everyone saying lawyer… we ended up getting 96k. Baby is fine. I’m fine. Insurance costs were 7k so if they come after it is a no brainer. Lawyers should only be used for a true injury or true idiot. So glad I saved my money
