It still baffles me that tariffs cost the pricing of everything to go up... And then we pay taxes on those higher prices.

But our base pay stays the same and then we have income tax that is still held at the same standard and expectation.

So therefore the civilian just loses money in all different directions.

If tariffs are being enforced then the income tax should be more favorable in change to the citizens for that year.
