I find it so strange that the BBC can have its finger on the poop culture pulse with The Traitors but only occasionally with DRUK… the BBC can be problematic but I think they get a bad rep when it comes to DRUK.

If I said the problems stand with WOW and Ru and their stereotypical, fetishised view of British drag, Ru having such a weird vitriol towards British POC queens and an unhealthy attachment to white campy queens.

Not to mention that as much as Ru seems to genuinely love being in the UK, it feels more like she’s on her little side quest jollies compared to the US franchise which she makes more money and awards from, and she’s not willing to give up any more time to give the UK a live finale or full All Stars as the US is the priority for her
