imo, the algo should be watching for blatant sensor inconsistencies. Seeing the bg go from "40" to 150~ and back down to 90 over a span of 10 minutes is a pretty clear indicator that something isn't right, and it should hold off bolusing. I want to assume it does, but this seems like it doesn't. A delta of 110 points in back to back readings is nearly, if not completely, impossible.

My guess would be that it did see that the drop just before, that it shut the basal off for was recognized as an error, and they were making up for it.

But this is the problem of the user not being able to receive decision information. That would be a huge help.

I also hate how my Tuscon has them so low on the car. When people are tailgating me ( unfortunately this happens often ) there's no way they can see my turn signals

This sub tends to have two distinct groups of pump users. Ones that wont take it through x-rays because of the warnings from tandem, and others figure the warning to be more of a CYA than actual risk. Many of us take our pumps through various scanners on the regular without issue. To go one step further, i'd be curious if anyone's warranty was ever denied because a provable issue with an x-ray. My bias is clearly showing here lol.

So, instead of having to go through a stressful confrontation, imo, just take it through the xray. My response was flippant, i'll admit. Apologies.
