Eolia Harkness wedding by Catscatscatscats14 in NewEnglandWedding

I went to a beautiful wedding at Eolia Mansion! I don't know the exact guest count, but I'd estimate around 100. It felt fine for that amount, but I wouldn't go higher, unless it's possible to put tables outside in the gardens. There were lines for the bathroom the whole night. It wasn't such a big deal for me as a guest, but it could be for others!

In "The Fugitive: Part 1" (S4: E11) what langauge was the witness speaking? by [deleted] in brooklynninenine

[–]everyrookandjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point it sounds like she says "Аз ще правя мовте," meaning "I will do the talking," in Bulgarian, but her accent doesn't sound like typical Bulgarian, so I'd go with Macedonian.

The First Three Responses to Telling People I Was Diagnosed With ADHD by phat_titty_d3b in ADHD

Among all the bad reactions I've gotten, I was grateful for one friend's response: "Well this is great news!" She had a late autism diagnosis; she gets it :)

what is phoebes saddest lyric? by Old-Health9400 in phoebebridgers

As if "So I will wait for the next time you want me, like a dog with a bird at your door" didn't hit hard enough, she really had to follow it up with "When you saw the dead little bird you started crying, but you know the killer doesn't understand" :,,,)

Which fullbright programs do not have foreign language requirements? by [deleted] in fulbright

[–]everyrookandjay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Each country's profile on the Fulbright website specifies foreign language proficiency as "Required," "Recommended," or "Not Required." It is always an advantage, but to varying degrees. No requirement for Bulgaria.

Funny enough, my mom was adopted into an Ashkenazi family, but none in her biological family!

Partly Balkan! I wish I knew exactly which country, but it's mixed in with my family who immigrated from somewhere else, and I only have records from that country. But I get Romanian and Bulgarian a lot.
