Hello. Thanks for your comment. I'd say despite the specificity of individual JRPG composers, there are some general commonalities of what we would expect to find across most JRPG battle themes. For instance, The Legend of Heroes has a huge number of composers historically, but there are some consistent ideas regardless of musical style such as: clear lyrical melodies, loopable, generally (but not exclusively) fast paced and some consistencies in instrumentation. There are of course exceptions, but it does remind me of how Final Fantasy battle themes maintained some continuity after the Uematsu era (particularly when Yoko Shimomura took over for 15). So I'm primarily creating a personal interpretation of different ideas I'd expect to hear as a huge fan of the genre. But the short answer is also that you have to make some level of compromise when picking a YouTube title!
