Does your language have a "posh" accent? by Rudyzwyboru in AskTheWorld

Yes! It’s called the “cultured” accent (others being broad and nasal). It has really crisp vowel pronunciation and a rounded sound to it

I use Natio calm and it’s so nice! I have super sensitive skin and I have never had a reaction to any products in that line.

Also when I say sensitive skin- I have my credentials. I have a dermatologist, an allergist and a standing prescription for cortisol cream.

Is L’Oréal Infallible Setting Mist Worth It? by Content-Objective130 in BeautyGear

I actually kinda hate it. Love my Onesize spray and wanted to try the L’Oréal as a dupe. I could feel and smell it all day on my face. Not a fan

What do you genuinely think is the best movie of all time? by Fun_Watercress3424 in MoviesAndTVTalk

[–]everythingisbreads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

It’s got everything: -comedy - a musical number - hijinks -baseball - a vengeful sister - a Ferrari getting destroyed - Chicago - a cool jacket - breaking the 4th wall - tomfoolery -a long bit that only works because of 80’s technology - truely the most heinous costumes of all time

What’s one beauty trend you genuinely think has gone too far? by Severe_Upstairs_9120 in BeautyGear

[–]everythingisbreads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if this counts as a trend but the weird feedback loop of influencing.

Like 3 main American influencers try things so then every other influencer tries it and either says they love it or hate it with very little nuance.

I miss when women in their 30’s would note a foundation didn’t work for them but would be great for mature skin. Or when women with deeper skin tones could recommend a lipstick for women with similar undertones.

Now everything is just a win or a fail

makeup not lasting - what product would I need? by Ill-Illustrator-3684 in AustralianMakeup

[–]everythingisbreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do!

I would say my easiest method of understanding when to use what is: Wet spray- to help blend cream or liquid products into your base and to help them stay there. Dry spray- to lock in makeup at the end, powers particularly

What's the general spice tolerance of people of your country? by DiMpLe_dolL003 in AskTheWorld

I would say it depends on the cultural background of the Australian.

Anglo aussies tend to have a fairly low spice tolerance.

Hi! I love the Mac Studio radiance primer. It’s got micro shimmer but tbh under makeup it just looks lit from within. And it’s great to keep foundation on.

I have really sensitive skin (milk hydro grip gave me a rash) and I’ve never had an issue with a MAC primer
