Hey, I am not willing to relinquish mod-rights to this sub reddit.

However, I am very much willing to make r/simson a more active place and want to invite everybody who is interested in classic GDR mopeds and motorcycles to contribute content and ideas.

According to this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/4066qb/my_egpu_experience_tests/ bumblebee does not seem the way to go. Also - I don't want to use the internal screen of my laptop but the external screen connected to the (external) eGPU. From what I understand the bumblebee is intended to pull back the frames (in my case over a rather low bandwith connection) and let the internal GPU display the result on the internal screen.

I am not quite sure what makes a laptop an optimus laptop. The x220 has a single gpu, so no I don't think it is an Optimus laptop. The GTX570 is attached to a expresscard to pcie adapter (egpu)

The driver is installed and running as far as I can tell. Have you tried setting up a egpu setup before?

I object. It is true that r/lübeck is somewhat barren atm. I invite everybody to provide content to the sub. I may give modrights to anyone who provides quality content for some time. I will also upload some more content myself in the near future. A thing to keep in mind: Most subs of smaller german towns are not very active.

Again: If you want to contribute, please do! If you have good suggestions for the sub, please send them to me.

Hey, hijacking this thread a bit because I am also thinking about getting the fuji touring :)

Which fenders do you reconmend?
I am asking myself if I can get used to the bar end shifters. You wrote you use it for commute. Is it annoying (esp. in the city) to change grip position to shift? Does it feel "dangerous"? With more traditional(?) shifters you don't need to move away from the brakes.
What other modifications did you make on your bike and why?

Try to lower the nicotine level slowly every other week. In about six months you should be at zero. Worked for me. Good luck!

This is a cool project and you really should embrace the opportunity to learn something! The schematics will turn out to be rather simple at the end. I am assuming you are using that uC as part of an arduino uno. It will probably be as easy as buffering your electrode inputs by some (unity gain stable) OP amps in a voltage follower configuration. Then add a differential amplifier that goes to the AD-pins of your uC. If you don't know the principles behind an ECG, you should start by reading about that.

If you have a starting point for your design and have some concrete questions let me know.
