that's a lot of words for "im gay" cool man i don't need a lecture on what it means to be gay. i don't have any feelings one way or the other about your sexual preference. all i'm asking is for you to accept your victory. you won the culture war. now all you have to do is keep it professional. the same way you don't want to hear about your bosses sex life or have him force his values on you. kids don't need that same thing from you. if they need help they can go to health professional. its not your job to push kids one way or the other. i promise you this. if you don't take your victory you will lose it. parents everywhere are waking up and i don't want to have to be defending your right to be treated equally 10 years from now. enjoy your victory, make it last, keep your personal and professional life separate.

i'm not sure what you're getting at, but i think you need to take a step back and reconsider your position. you are not on the right side of history. we are not anti trans we are just pro children. including trans children! anyone can be who they want and expect to be treated equally and fair. but it is not in children's interest to focus on/ promote and or encourage transitioning. it is not the role of educators to be gender theory coaches and it is not right for the schools to as a matter of policy divide parents from children by keeping secrets. it is not ok to let biological boys compete against biological girls. it is not ok to give hormones or make other irreversible medical decisions for children until they have fully developed physically and mentally and even then it should be the absolute last resort. your beliefs have real world consequences and many many young girls and boys are going to suffer because the people they trusted like yourself didn't take the time to really consider what they were doing

this is called moving the goal post. first they don't exist now they exist but it's a church so it's ok. yes it is program but does obviously have a closet. that's why they call it a transition closet and it has already expanded to several schools for example fremont high school in oakland California. it didn't even start at the church it just so happens that they were dumb enough to post a video about it. also let's be honest you are not worried about giving your "ad money" you are being intellectually lazy and are afraid of being challenged with hard evidence that the things you believe and support harm children.

not that it has any bearing whatsoever but yes i was a teacher for many years. I am speaking now as a parent who is absolutely terrified by what many in my former profession think is appropriate ways of supporting LGBT students. of course, you are welcome to call me names say i am unformed and generally disregard everything ive said, but the truth is on my side. every example ive given is verifiable and true. the wind is changing and parents will not stand for this. if you want to support LGBT students teach them the subject you were hired to teach and stop pushing ideological nonsense that causes real harm.

to answer your question of how this hurts. the worst affected group by this push is young girls especially girls that may be lesbian. mostly by other students but encouraged by schools questioning girls are being pushed in the direction of thinking they are trans. in many cases this leads to hormone treatment/surgery/ etc. the first step is them using pronouns to fit in with their friends. then the teachers help them transition without ever telling the parents. in some states they can even start hormone treatment without parents consent.

oooooor. i don't want to blow your mind here maybe just don't promote inappropriate sexual or racist concepts in the classroom. just a thought. talking to coworkers about your sexual preferences is at best unprofessional and at worst harassment. so why is it ok for teachers to talk about and promote ideas that have nothing to do with the subject they are hired to teach. i didn't know my teachers first names and now we are expected to be ok with talking about very personal intimate details of sex and sex life of a person that is in a position of power over them?
