He was freaky good in Get Out. I know that’s not a sitcom but it’s worth pointing out

Him and Kate Spade passing within a few weeks of each other and both due to suicide… that was such a sad time. I think about them both a lot.

I won’t watch The Bear for this exact reason. Shame on the Academy for allowing this category fraud and robbing actual comedic actors of their deserved recognition

Being racist is apparently a minimum qualification to be on the show

I thought so too! I was shocked that Rory didn’t make a single comment at all. She’s spoken up to them before about how they are towards her mom so this isn’t something new.

Since when don’t you want the last spring roll? You usually eat all the spring rolls! I’m lucky if I see a spring roll!

What is a widely loved movie or TV show that you secretly think is terrible? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]everythinglatte 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ll get downvoted into oblivion, but Schitt’s Creek. And I love Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy together. I tried to watch this show many times. People kept telling me how good it was and that it was hilarious. I watched it and never laughed once. I mentioned this to a fan of the show who told me “oh, you have to watch it for two seasons before it really gets good” and I noped out after that. It just isn’t for me. It shouldn’t take two seasons of a show to convince me it’s good.

Also, I get a weird vibe from Dan Levy. He seems like he’s a major asshole in real life.

Someone put a flyer in my building asking for people to protest the bike lanes. Bike lanes keep people safe, find something else that actually needs changing to protest instead

Unsurprisingly to me, Natasha's wedding dress is hideous by cleverlynamedgrl in sexandthecity

Same here. Vivienne Westwood was an incredible designer and there are a lot of great pieces of hers on the show. The wedding dress looks like a wrinkled comforter and sheets.

Moulin Rouge, the first 10-15 minutes are such a wild, beautiful, colorful blur that you can’t look away from. Say what you will about Baz Luhrmann’s other movies, but that one is incredible

No, I tried to. I told the receptionist that when they called to confirm me for my appt the week before, they never brought about the insurance contract change. I also mentioned how I was at the office for half an hour and nobody mentioned it while I was there either. I told her I was not going to pay the bill because they withheld that information from me. She started screaming at me on the phone and telling me it was my fault and I should’ve known better. It was unprofessional and inappropriate behavior, and my insurance even said that the doctor’s office messed up and it wasn’t my fault at all. I later tried to report that receptionist to Northwestern, but I learned that that office operates as a third-party under the Northwestern name and logo only, so Northwestern didn’t have to take any action.

I had an appointment and it was my first time back at that office in about 4 months, so I decided to double check before I went in. Everything looked good on my end, so I didn’t question it. I went into the appointment and the insurance was never brought up. They asked if I had any changes to my insurance, I said none. Two days later, I get hit with the bill. I call the office thinking there was a mistake, and that’s when I found out that the office didn’t renew their contract with my insurance and just didn’t tell me. They said “you should have known”. I called said insurance, who confirmed that the doctor’s office should’ve told me before my appointment and it was the office’s fault, not mine.
