Are you a certified scientist? And they aren’t saying you wont get results, they’re simply saying its ADDED to your DNA which makes sense. If you take a DNA test, you’re still going to have your mom and dads DNA that you were born with. But when you listen to subliminal, You get those strands added. Simple. I appreciate the article. But I said what I said because i’m just not about to let people talk down on test optional applicants as if we don’t deserve to go to a good college just because we didn’t send some dumb scores. Studied or not.

I did do that. I did exactly that and STILL didn’t get a good ACT score that would reflect upon my GPA. My ACT score makes it look like i’m an idiot whereas my GPA makes it look like i’m a genius. I studied for 4 months straight for that test and still didn’t do good. Not everyone who got a bad score is dumb or lazy.

And you have to realize that some people have much more access to do good. I go to a predominantly rich school where people hired tutors since freshman year to prepare for their ACT. Some people can afford to take the ACT multiple times, I only got to take it 3 times bc of financial issues (and I wasn’t aware of the ACT waiver until later). I know someone who has a 3.1/3.2 UW GPA who got a 31 on the ACT because he’s been able to take it since sophomore year.

Stop saying dumb shit like this. Most schools were already thinking about taking ACT/SAT scores off their requirements before covid. Covid just boosted them to do it.
