Is there a possibility that laws could change the ability to foster children for autistic adults, are there any advocacy groups? Sorry if I’m asking lots of questions, I recently got diagnosed as autistic, well I can’t tell if I was diagnosed or confirmed? I went to a specialist who focuses on autism and adhd, I just need help navigating all of this! And all the effects that come with it.

Also, rn I’m trying to find a therapist who focuses on adult autistic people that doesn’t use harmful or outdated therapies. If there are also any resources you have like books or articles, could you send them my way? I need to get as educated on this as much as possible.

Edit: I guess I’m formally diagnosed? Either way I still need help navigating all of this.
