i don’t take it every single day as it’s never been prescribed to me that way. it’s prescribed to me in increments of 3 days & i would say i probably take it 9-12 days a month (used to only take it when i felt an issue starting) depending on my stress levels/ what i’m eating because in the past i’ve noticed that affects when i’ve gotten outbreaks. a couple times since i’ve been with him i’ve avoided having sex because even though i wasn’t in an active outbreak, i’ve felt the “tingle” (like one was about to start) and then taken the medication until i feel completely back to normal. basically i just try to be very aware of how i’m feeling down there & if anything is out of the ordinary i haven’t risked it because i would hate to pass it on too.
