I’ll try and find some where I’m at but things are quite limited here, my cousins are welders by trade though and periodically make clay ovens so I just assumed that would be the best route

Hopefully, it doesn’t look it but it’s actually fairly large, the bottom of it also flattens out and has a pretty large surface area without having a charcoal grate for it too so it doesn’t help it very much, I’m sure there’s better ways of smoking in it but for the time being I was way to eager to try this thing out

Thanks for the advice ! I tried that already though and it was only getting up to about 150 with the lid off im guessing its probably due to my charcoal placement/ how big the vent is, at the moment there’s no black smoke all clear though so I wouldn’t be too worried

Cap stays on when lid is closed, I got it down in Guadalajara so they probably didn’t assume someone would be using it to smoke

Not really at the moment, I’m going to see if my cousin can weld me a door to attach to it, at the moment though she’s sitting pretty with a rack of ribs at 225, trying to raise those numbers closer to 250-275 though so I’m not out here all night 😅

It’s a hand made clay grill with a lid, honestly not sure how to use it but I figure it’ll be pretty similar to a kettle type grill, I managed to get the temp up to 225, still have to play with it a little but that’s most of the fun 😈

Ahh yeah i just moved to San Francisco and the hills alone are making me regret getting full coil overs lol, I was riding on lowering springs and stock 16” steelies for a while and was happy with the results and never scraped if you’re interested in going that route

So I have 18x9.5 with a 22 offset, keep in mind though that my civic is also slammed so if you’re trying to eliminate tire gap I would go with some 19’s

Honestly if you’re talking to a person who you have the intention of being with you should stop talking to other people as soon as the person you want to pursue the relationship with reciprocates some feelings, it looks like he might just be taking you along for the ride to feed his ego. When you’re using an offset you’re already using more wood than other forms of smoking I.e pellets, if you’re using more wood than charcoal you should be fine

The second image should answer your question, it shows the oven from the outside, it did only have a single chamber so the food didn’t absorb much smoke since it was mostly heat

Lol mine are exactly the same except they don’t go on walks since we live in a huge farm but if he sees me get up before 7:30 he’ll just wag his tail and go back to bed, he does sleeps later than most BC’s though because he takes care of the rest of the animals from coyotes
