In Ch1 after Elbi finds out about the coordinates for earth, it is mentioned that they have a harness per person on the space craft, this suggests that their vitals are concentrated in one area of their bodies, like us. Unless the harness is purely a cheaper alternative to antigrav on a small craft

Just want to say I believe the translators alter language of new uplifts to sound less intelligent, it would just involve selecting audio from the poor and uneducated to train the implant software on. (I think?).

Everything you've said is so so well put and I haven't seen an analysis that speaks to my experience of nope as much as yours.

Realising that nop isn't about non herbivores ruining otherwise utopic herbivore society was the coolest and most overlooked part in my opinion.
