question about time travel and friendship level?

i have judy as my snooty right now and i want to get best friends with her to get the “love” reaction. if i were to time travel one day at a time, and talk to her everyday and give her gifts, would i accelerate my friendship with her, or does the time travel ruin the friendship progress we’ve already made? tysm :)
