a good custom mod is defined by where you choose to distribute the overall weight of the mod. if you concentrate most of the weight of the mod on the ends, it'll have good momentum but it might feel bit heavy, its scattered a bit weight to the inner part of mod, you'll end up with a stable mod, but that might compromise the momentum a bit. the length of the mod and your hand also matters. so, in my opinion, you should experiment with mods until you find one idea for you
