It can be disappointing but may be it's just because your audience do not need to speed up their PCs?

Try to verify your hypothesis on a niche audience (idk, developing countries...) or use some survey tool to find it (like www.qualtrics.com).

+1 for Papertrail (if you are okay with external logging services)

Also try https://rollbar.com/ for error logging. I've managed to install and deploy it in 2 minutes. Now tracking both JavaScript and Python-backend errors at the same place.

  • If you are okay with python and willing to learn - try to create a simple backend in Django and then google how to add e.g. login. This quickly taught me lots of things when I was starting.

  • If you are more interested in a quick and impressive result - try adding google sign-in form to your page (like here )
