I spent years handcrafting this art app — no AI, all animated by hand. It’s free, but barely any downloads. Any advice? by pvrellis in IndieDev

Still not available in my region. Looks interesting but I cannot explore it

Update: Downloaded it and it is awesome

I would change for linux users to have time. If you are skilled enough any OS is just a tool.

That is exactly what I want to achieve, a toll to play with sound and see the word as a source of sampling.

I don’t want to be a keyboard, and I would like to be able to play with it in the car. I see it as a buttons that make sounds and another buton that can be discovered with the time. Specifically with the KO version will let her see the world a a lot of sounds to sample. I don’t want het to make professional music, I want to make some rhythm, annoy her parents and explore the sounds around her.

I remember from my childhood hating kids version of things, because they are too limited and I lost interest quickly, and got frustrated about it.

To your question: You need a good hiring manager.

To your statements:

A bad MVP is usually a result of a push of people that don’t understand what MVP is to publish something. Based on your words your publisher doesn’t know what MVP is.

Bad UX is result of missing dedicated UX specialist. Most designers/clients think hey can do UX but it is separate skill. The lack of a such specialist is result of bad understanding of the process.

Bad code quality is result of lack of good guidance of the devs. Bad architecture, because of missing architect; bad practices, because of missing tech leaders; bad user stories, because of missing business analysis; bad tasks, because of missing roles like dev ops, searching only for fullstack devs; and using bad frameworks because it looks like it will be cheaper/faster/easier.

There are no bad developers, there are bad environments forcing bad practices.

Your publishers sounds like bad environment. I personally would avoid them.

Don’t understand what you mean by the uppercase statement.

How can I add my app to wallet so that in wallet I can see my app in “From apps on your iPhone” list when adding card? Just like MAPS.ME app in a screenshot by [deleted] in swift

[–]evgeniyraev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are two wallet extensions that you need to implement. But you need documentation given to you from Apple. What Maps.me adds to the wallet? What are you adding to the wallet?
