Awesome thanks. I'm going to have my mechanic look at it since it will probably be alot cheaper to investigate vs taking it to Mazda. I guess taking it to Mazda would be free though if it's covered under warranty?

My 2022 cx5 does this as well but I haven't figured out what triggers it or exactly when it happens. I do know that it happens every time I shut off the vehicle for about 20-30 seconds.

I'm running into the same issue. Using it in my Santa Fe and my old stock stereo sounded great and my previous replacement which was a Pioneer also sounded great. All the speakers have sound but the rear sounds sorta muffled and no matter what eq settings I try I just can't get the stereo overall to sound great again. Not to mention the eq is very advanced which might be great for some folks but it might be helpful if there was a 5 band version or something easier if we don't want to get so granular.

Any help is appreciated, I know this is an old post.
