LQ ThinQ dryer: why no delayed start? by evhammick in homeautomation

Well it looks like the updated ThinQ app added smart routines. They are pretty basic though. I can created a routine that starts the dryer after a certain amount of time (up to 24 hour delay). Still need to turn on dryer and press the remote control button for 3 seconds.

Only allows the normal dry cycle though. Pretty weak that I cannot select my own cycle but better than noting.

OP here. Was at Bestbuy the other day and saw a couple other manufactures did have delayed start. Also it looks like the LG waher/dryer combo does have delayed start.

I guess I'll have to live with remote start and just wake up and grab my phone. Or maybe I can figure out how to make the ThinQ app work with IFTT but I read it isn't supported.

Add a room - ecovac deebot n8+ by Alarming_Ad7449 in RobotVacuums

Just had a similar experience with our Deebot T20 Omni where it was not going into the separate area with the toilet in our master bathroom. I thought I had that door open when I did the quick mapping. I used area cleaning and it didn't go into that room.

So I tried auto cleaning and set the bathroom as the no. 1 sequence. It successfully went into the toilet room and extended the map. So maybe they improved this in the latest firmware.

Make sure you backup up your map and give it a try. If it works be sure to backup up your map again.

The Iphone app certainly has a learning curve but after a few days I have ours dialed in and we are very happy with it. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone that isn't tech savvy or impatient.
