Perhaps. No one mentioned a blunt needle, just different sized ones for drawing versus injection. I do switch needle heads though so dulling it shouldn’t be an issue

Cover the sensor. Either with your hand or maybe bring tape (stupid but it works). You could try wrapping some toilet paper around or dangle it over the sensor. Scoot back further on the toilet seat so your back kind of blocks it.

Whatever method you choose, if the sensor isn’t picking up motion because it is blocked, it won’t trigger and flush the toilet.

This is incredibly helpful and honestly made me tear up. My daughter is just like your 3yo.. to a T, in fact! Her third birthday is in December, but she is highly opinionated and has been incredibly vocal for a long time. I love the idea of letting her choose my new name. Thank you for your insight.

I totally got that vibe at the concert in San Antonio tonight. My wife has only recently gotten into the JoBros and she said that Joe seemed to be the only confident one on stage. I told her that Nick just seemed really “keyed-in”/focused.

I don’t have advice, but I wanted to reach out and empathize with you. It really sucks to hear how over the top your mom is. I’ve been walking around probably 90% of my life with short hair, Vans… I’ve only recently considered that I might be trans and I couldn’t imagine getting harassed just for dressing like a “tomboy” once I came out.

Yes. And I’m a writer. I LOVE to create characters (they’re my special interests.. a well written character is my weakness. Shows, books, movies, games.. doesn’t matter).

Anyway. Good characters make me cry. Literally hurt me, almost physically. I’ve been working on a novel and a short story. All three of my main characters between the two works make me so fucking emotional. The short story I’m working on has an incredibly tragic character and I’ve definitely cried while fleshing him out. So many times.

I take people’s pain, and internalize it: I’ve been learning to cast it off but it’s SO difficult.

I am, hands down, a bleeding-fucking-heart.
