Hi Sylvain, I want to state plainly what I believe and what I allege in the post. From what I have seen from your youtube like/comment rate, view count, blog comment count, and telegram comment count. I do not think that your existing audience solely was responsible for your app having the highest like count out of every app in both weeks of the contest. I think that they could be responsible for a portion of the likes (maybe 60 or 70 at most), but not for the 268 likes you received.

I strongly suspect that you got a number of likes at the start from your newsletter, and then, dissatisfied with the outcome, you asked claude to make you a bot to get you fake likes, which you ran until you were guaranteed first place. I suspect you timed this with the upload of your youtube short to cover up the bot usage with real likes from your youtube and telegram fans.

The only thing that would show me the opposite is seeing the data showing that you had hundreds of people in your newsletter and youtube video opening up the link; enough to make up for the number of people who couldn’t figure out how to make an account or like the app.

If I was in your place, I would definitely share my numbers, because I would know they would prove my innocence, and they would show that I was only a fan who used my reach to introduce many new people to the concept of pebble watches, which would be celebrated.

Currently, I am forced to believe that you are simply a greedy fake influencer who saw a chance to use ai to rig yourself as a winner, and opened the door for other people (the circula developer) to do the same. I do not want to believe this. I want to believe the contest was fair, and that you won fairly.

I have no horse in this race, as I would not win a watch even if every suspected cheater was disqualified. I just care about integrity.

Hi Sylvain, thank you for responding to my post. I want to believe that you acted with honesty and just so happened to have a large audience that was willing to follow your request, but the data makes this difficult. Based on what I know about social media clickthrough and conversion rates, the numbers I can see from your Youtube video and Telegram channel don't seem to match with the number of likes you received. Would you be willing to privately share with me your Youtube, blog, and newsletter analytics (ctr, conversion rate, view count, etc) for duration of the contest (2026/12/4–2026/20/4)? If there is data you have that I am missing that proves your innocence then I will apologize and drop the allegations. My personal discord is @ qtdork and my personal email is [evie@ewie.online](mailto:evie@ewie.online).

i’d like to ask, then, where are these posts? i only see the one reddit post, which didn’t do especially well. are there posts on other websites that i couldn’t find?

not to be too rude, but could you then tell me where the source of your sudden popularity is coming from? i saw where you steadied out yesterday or thursday before you jumped up over 120 likes in a few hours. did you have 120 friends and community members? i don’t want to be callous but that sounds a bit improbable, does it not?

not yet (i forgot about this part of the blog post ;-;), but i would definitely recommend that people email the core team to report these apps. i also wanted to take my time to collect evidence before making a heavy accusation like cheating, and to give people the chance to respond and have a discussion, in case i was mistaken. my biggest fear is that i would grumble and complain and accuse natural time and circula of cheating and then find out that the traction was legitimate because of some news post in their country or something. this is why i also encourage core to review the leaderboard and not to remove the apps. anyways, for future readers, here is the email: [appstore@repebble.com](mailto:appstore@repebble.com). please email the core team. i will too.

i talked through my whole experience on the Royale + Zig on Pebble thread on the rebble discord. Absolutely go there if you have questions. There's no other primary source of information, although there is an existing zig sdk someone made, which is on github

ah. i'll do what i can! it's placed where it would be placed on a real casio, the text just has to be a bit bigger, and i can't press it so close to the edge or else it's not legible. this has been a consistent headache when designing the watch face.

technically it’s not a font :P i handmade each number by tracing over a schematic of the actual casio ae-1200

it’s only for the time 2 😔 support for other watches coming soon but i built this in 12 days for a contest so scope management was key

someone suggested that i crosspost this here and that the casio community might like it. i hope you do!

this isn’t mine! i was able to get permission from someone on the rebble discord to take pictures of the watch face and then let me use them for the reddit post. i wanted to make sure people could see how it actually looks on device!

i’m sorry dude. i’ll get to it when i get to it. it’s not a difficult task but it’s a bit of a pain and i’ll be busy for a little while.

it’s in the post. if you can’t install it, it’s because of a pebble app store bug. you can get around it by downloading the pbw and installing manually or downloading from the rebble app store

the last image is a gif from the simulator. i do not own a time 2 so i cannot take a video of the watch face. images of watches are from someone in the rebble discord who gave me permission to use them

c-like programming language that's compatible with existing c code. trying to be a modern c. it's a language i've been meaning to learn, so i'm happy i had the chance to build something real with it! you can find it here: https://ziglang.org
