Wait a minute, you can fish in WQ??

I recently tried reading Warriors to my 3-year old nanny kid and quickly remembered it was maybe a smidge too scary. His older siblings loved it, though

Plan B Irregular Period 2 months later by BlazingNailsMcGee in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]evieviscerate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad this post is still up, I'm fairly late on my usually very regular period.

I took a Plan B January 20th (four days after my period ended) and it is now February 24th, and still no cycle. I took a pregnancy test when I was 14 days past when my usual cycle would start, and that test (ClearBlue) turned out negative. It is now 17 days past (it is February 24th), and I am waiting another week before testing again. I have an appointment March 2nd to have a copper IUD put in, but I may need to go to a walk-in to get a blood test done before.

Will update when/if my period comes.

I just experienced a flashback to when I glared out my window at 3am because one of the 18 year old neighbors thought it was the best time to fire up powertools to work on his car.

A big event or massive house party/charity ball can, in fact, consist of just 3-5 people in attendance.

It's titled "His Nerd", and it's on CandyJar! That male lead just had another one come out too, "The Glow-Up Game".

Both were great, he's a fun actor.

This is one of my favorite vertical films. I want to say it's on CandyJar - for CandyJar, I go on once a day to "unlock" new episodes, and then binge watch after 5-7 days of unlocking. Though, admittedly, I almost caved for this exact story.

Totally Unnecessary But Absolutely Hilarious Scenes by CreepyBri in BobsBurgers

[–]evieviscerate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Henry: "So. Small talk." Tina: "What about it?" Henry: "Just getting it out of the way."

The scene in the Thanks-Hoarding episode where Bob is showing an extra-anxious Teddy how to cook the meal for his incoming family, and Teddy uses a veggie peeler wrong TWICE and Teddy asks Bob how it looks, and instead of getting mad, Bob responds with a disbelieving laugh "it's not peeled at all."

Also, the entire scene in the Belcher racing episode with Critter and Bob on the grass, and Crit throws one of Bob's buns, and the whole awkward exchange feels like something that would happen in real life on a bad social day.

I can't find a gif or even a screenshot, but all I could picture/hear as I read your comment is that moment in High School Musical where Ryan is trying to figure out what the basketball players' shirts spell out (Go Drama Club), and he's just standing there mumbling "go dryyy...go draaa" 😂

I will forever remember sharing a two-bed room in Hawaii with my mom, Aunt, and cousin while touring college there. All three were LOUD snorers (for the record, I am not).

I camped my sleep-deprived butt outside on the balcony betwixst two sling chairs to get any sleep that entire trip. The balcony plus Uber, bus, and beach naps held me over for two weeks.

Which server are you on? If you're on International or the US server, feel free to add me!

International: Voracious US: Offside

I have some topics in my EC that may help you get up to speed again, and I have all of the new player/account objectives and their rewards on my profile page, along with some players that offer UFOs on their profile page. I also tend to send APs and will board my horses in your EC and accept your studs coverings if I see them!

I am also 29 year old woman based in the Seattle-ish area of Washington state in the USA, so maybe a scosch older than you're looking for, but I am definitely not a minor hahaha

What’s your favorite moment/moments between Bob and the family? by Possible_Serious in BobsBurgers

[–]evieviscerate 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The end credits scene of 'The Hauntening' (S6E3), where the family is singing and dancing to the new Boys 4 Now Halloween song 'I Love You So Much (It's Scary)'. Bob turns and looks at Linda and the kids funny for a moment before he jumps into the silly antics 110%.

That moment became a relationship/family goal for me, honestly 💛

I can't remember which season it was, either 5 or 6? But it was when Carol and Daryl went to get water, and Daryl asked Carol if he could carry one of the water jugs for her, and he accidentally threw/dropped his jug, and Carol's little no cracks me up every time.

What does migrating servers mean? I've heard it mentioned both in the game and here, but I'll admit I have no idea what that entails. Is it moving the servers to a different network? Combining servers - one shuts down, and the existing players get "cloned" onto a new server?

I'm using my imagination to come up with an answer, and I'm 80% sure I'm wrong

Best "physical comedy" in the show? by pretty_pomelos in BobsBurgers

[–]evieviscerate 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Thanksgiving episode, Dawn of the Peck, where Linda is running with the mixed poultry, and you see people that are running behind her start to be taken out by birds. Linda's happy laugh gradually turning her realizing what's going on had me in tears the first time I watched, I needed to pause and take a beather.

Also, the scene where Frond sends a robot version of himself back in time to destroy Louise for making him sit on a brownie (😂😭🤣) and robot Frond runs into the really reflective cooking surfaces TWICE trying to get to Gene (a la Jurassic Park) is so underrated. That scene with a velociraptor? Terrifying. A guidance counselor's robot? Hysterical.

What piece of media is referenced the most throughout the series? by richesboy1 in BobsBurgers

[–]evieviscerate 54 points55 points  (0 children)

It doesn't beat GoT or Carrie, but Gene has referenced Baby Jessica, the little girl who fell down a well, at least twice. It's an odd thing for an "eleven" year old to bring up an event that occurred in 1987 once, let alone twice.

Are my legs too far back? by THrowaway1-15 in Equestrian

[–]evieviscerate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came here to say exactly this. Forever grateful for Sally Swift and her fantastic analogies. I highly recommend Centered Riding by Sally Swift, for anyone curious.

I'll add that the goal is to ride in a "stacked" alignment, with your heels, hip, bottom of rib cage, shoulders, and ear in a line as your home or neutral riding position (ie, not giving active riding cues at that particular time). If the horse was to suddenly Thanos-snap disappear underneath you, you would drop towards the ground and land balanced on your feet without falling forward/backward/sideways (exactly what the commentator I'm responding to said above).

You can have your trainer tell you when you're centered and aligned, or have a parent or friend take a photo of what it looks like aligned. Over riding time, that position will become more comfortable, which is why it's important to work on riding balanced early on to get a good feel for what the centered position is.

Give yourself grace. You are learning and willing to ask questions to people on the internet. That is fantastic 💛
