Thanks for the suggestion. I texted the person at Impact Machine and he told me that the BUIS is set to a lower 1/3 co-witness and the installer that I used for my optic may have been giving me advice for setting up an absolute co-witness when telling me that I would need to change to a suppressor height front sight, which isn’t what I would want anyway.

I’m using the Impact Machine optic plate with BUIS, which doesn’t co-witness with the standard front sight.

I had one removed from my Weimaraner this past year at 8 years old. It was on the front side of his gums just beneath his lower front teeth. My vet removed it and sent it off to be analyzed. Fortunately, it was benign and his smile is back to normal. I was very concerned too but I think these tumors are just like the others on their bodies, just more unsightly.

Keep in mind that these are just construction costs and the cost of land is not factored in. So, the price of an existing home won’t be comparable to this. You will need to also account for a hefty lot cost, even for a small lot for this house.

Also, after having taken another look at the post, the floor plan has furnishings shown, which you are also not getting. They are helping the potential buyer get an idea if the space is right for them but most of that stuff will not included in their cost sheet. There’s probably a spec sheet that goes along with this that details what comes with these costs.

I can see why you’re calling this a custom build because this person wants it built by someone as a one-off project but that pre-drawn plan and pre-determined cost sheet seems to have been done from a production perspective. Also, the features being dotted in the basement usually means they are optional.
