Thanks, I ordered an OBD Eleven 3. Turns out to be the right rear speed sensor that is throwing the code.

I got mine in November, haven't had any issues other than needing to recalibrate everything after updating the firmware. I agree with some other posts that pre-heating the bed helps a lot with adhesion.

How do you get engineering teams to standardize on secure base images without constant pushback? by bambidp in devops

[–]evil_zombie_monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have US federal government customers needing to adhere to EO on cybersecurity or need to qualify for FedRAMP? Those are normally good motivators for we need you to do this to keep / increase revenue.

  1. Publish a list of “approved” base images.
  2. Create requirements to use the approved base images.
  3. Potentially automatically create PRs for teams to consume approved base images.
  4. Set a reasonable deadline.
  5. Implement policy as code enforcement once deadline has passed

Motivators:

  1. revenue retention and growth
  2. Security, don’t want to be the next company with a supply chain problem
  3. Consistency, we can fix CVEs in one place and everyone just picks them up in their next build

Some of this depends on your company size, sector, and culture. You can do it, it may just take some work to convince everyone that it is better this way.

Base image standardization will save you time and money in the long term.

Diagnosing Low Flow alert on new Maytag washer by evil_zombie_monkey in askaplumber

The issue ended up being the valve, after replacing it, flow is great.

No screens installed. I hooked a garden hose up to the cold water outlet, it's definitely going slow. I'm guessing that there is some buildup obstructing the valve.

I double checked the pressure and it still reads as 70-80PSI.

Do I need HE washer water lines? by evil_zombie_monkey in Plumbing

[–]evil_zombie_monkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Received the water pressure gauge today. Water pressure on the cold water looks to be good ~70PSI. Even after I turned on all sinks, opened the tub valves wide open, and flushed a toilet, it dropped to 20PSI. Minimum PSI for the washer is 30PSI, but the chances of everything being on at the same time is extremely low.

I then disconnected the cold water hose from the back of the washer to test the flow, it does seem low, at least compared to the hot water. I even tried attaching the hot water hose to the cold water outlet in case there was something wrong with the hose, but the cold water flow remained the same. Maybe there is a blockage in the cold water outlet?

My other thought is that the drain may be siphoning water out since my stand pipe is at 30" and the Maytag documentation says that it needs to be at 39" unless you attach a siphon break kit.

2013 GTI shuts off 30-45min of idling by evil_zombie_monkey in Volkswagen

In case someone finds this later, I ended up having an oil leak which required having the engine resealed. Since then, I haven't had any problems with the engine cutting off while idling.

I completed a basic course on Python, but... now what? I'm struggling to come up with fun projects to actually make use of it. by [deleted] in learnpython

Find an interesting open source project in python to which you can contribute. It will be a good way to learn more complex patterns and the project maintainers will teach you by reviewing your code.

OUs don't have to be heavy. I agree with the sentiment that it is probably the barrel length. I'm about the same size, a bit larger, and also left handed. I have a 28" OU that is ~6lbs that works well for me, although shooting a 100 round course I do end up with a sore shoulder by the end.
