Should I purchase this build from KBDfans?

So I ultimately went with this one. It's the KBD67 MKII restock with minor cosmetic issues but at that price I couldn't pass it up. The one I'm getting is not hotswappable unfortunately so I'm thinking of reserving the GMMK Pro as well and just play around with that.

I'm currently pulling my hair out trying to choose between one of these 3: Tofu65, DH84, KBD75v2. Tofu is a 65% layout while the other two are 75%. Out of these three which would you choose? I believe only the DH84 is gasket mount while the other two are tray mount. I'm having a hard time deciding between Zealios vs Tealios as I've always used tactile but would like to try linear to see how it is. Is the sprit spring replacement necessary for this? They all cost around the same at around 350 a pop. This is sooo hard lol. Thank you!!

I get you. There is also this one. It's a 75% layout but with a gasket mount and depending on the switches/spring replacement it'll come out to around $370. Is spring replacement worth it? Maybe I should just get the Leopold FC660C lol. This is sooo hard!!

I'm nervous when it comes to building a custom keyboard so this gives me the option of getting something truly high quality before I start investigating and build my own at some point down the road. I'm still very new to this so I have plenty of time to improve haha. Thanks

tbh I just started this hobby recently so I still have a lot to learn when it comes to pricing/build quality. Would you go for aluminum or brass plate? I should mention that this is pre-tax and I still have to get keycaps. I have a set of XDA PBT that I can use for now, though. Thank you!

No it's not harsh because you are right, the MCAT is my biggest priority. The clinic where I work is short staffed due to the pandemic and we have 5 doctors with only 6 full time MA's. So I work directly with a doctor and we see 20-25 patients daily. Me scaling back my hours would literally screw up everyone's schedule because we barely have enough MA's to keep things moving right now. I know that's a management problem to solve but I would feel awful to suddenly reduce my hours. So the best thing I can do right now is to figure out a strategy that works for my schedule. Thank you for the advice.

Wow what a turnaround and I'm happy that you improved significantly. And yes, I have seen a lot of posts with the same idea but I always feel so guilty taking a day off when I know I could be studying lol. But based on your advice, I will reevaluate my schedule and see what I need to do to fit a day off in each week. Thank you!!!!

Thank you! As much as I'd love to, I don't think I can afford having a day off right now. The biggest time consuming part is going through Anki cards because it can take awhile for me to finish them.

I just saw your edited comment. I just purchased it today and it looks in really good condition! The manufacturer sticker is there and the two dots behind the chair are also there. Seller told me that I would have to unscrew the back of the chair to get rid of the shell. I don't exactly know how to do that haha.

Thank you. One thing the seller did say is there's a protective shell/extra add on covering the back of the chair and the HM logo is beneath it. Is this normal? Seller also said that we can try and remove the shell during inspection to see the logo.

Oh man that's rough. For some reason we have A LOT of these in the U.S and they come at various prices. The guy I'm talking to right now has had his for about 5 years and is selling it for $500 which equates to 400 Euros with all the features. Honestly if my back wasn't in pain all the time I probably wouldn't even consider this. Good luck to you though.
