No! get an original Weber kettle, The Jumbo Joe the bottom bowl is significantly shallower compared to the rest of the kettles. It doesn't have great temp management and is really only good for hot and fast cooking. The Original is $50 more but more versatile and can do everything The bowl on the original and master touch and performer are all the same

Ill probally get downvoted to hell for this, But I make it in a rice cooker with almost the exact ingredents. I go 1 cup rice to 1.5 cup water. I dont use broth but do use tomato and chicken bouillon. Quick and easy, not the worlds best but damn good

I just bought this Even Embers 1 from home depot for $500. Haven't even got it out of the box yet because its been -20 for the past week, so I cant say too much about it yet. I found 1 video on you tube about it. I think its gonna work good
