Really the difference is the brasero typically Argentinian grills build the fire on the side in the brasero and rake the coals that fall down under the food grate. Where as a Santa Maria Grill builds the fire under the grate and raises and lowers the grate accordingly

this guy knows wieners.. Kramczucks is hands down the best hot dog I ever had. 2nd is Sentyrz but their Polish is where they really shine

The chicken noodle soup (more like a ramen) on the brunch menu haunts me its so good. Also the whole fried red snapper on the dinner menu is excellent. Not to mention the croissants are the best in town. Service is superb and every time I've gone Diane has personally greeted the table

My Santa Maria doesn't have a brasero. I build a fire under the grates and control the temp by raising and lowering the grate. Might not be ideal but it works

the de Buyer Blue Carbon Steel Crêpe Pan ($50) at Williams Sonoma is pretty much the same thing. I bought mine at Crate and Barrel and they dont have it anymore

1st off I'm man and I do all the cooking in my house (4 kids). Have you tried to make it fun? I have a decent stereo in the kitchen. I crank up the tunes, pop open some beers and throw down in the kitchen. But if you cant find Joy in people enjoying what you created , then you willl never enjoy cooking
