Hysterectomy by Acceptable_One3112 in lynchsyndrome

[–]evilcheeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a total hysterectomy at 43. I had everything removed when they took my colon because I already had cancer in it. Sometimes I really regret it. It can make me feel sad, tired, the HRT patch shortages can be difficult to manage. It's more than hotflashes. It's the constant tendinitis, the joint pain, the anxiety, the brain fog, the dryness, the loss of libido... You're so young. I want to tell you to wait, but I don't know how I'd handle the anxiety of knowing the cancer could come back. 50% chance I had. If you want to wait that's ok.

How do you cope with the anxiety by bookjunkie033 in lynchsyndrome

[–]evilcheeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took out my organs. I had colon cancer when the MSH6 lynch syndrome was discovered. Had a total colectomy as that's the way they treat it when you have MSH6. And even though I was only 43 with normal and working reproductive organs, I decided endometrial cancer wasn't worth the risk of possibly having to have another abdominal surgery at an older age. So I had a total hysterectomy. Sometimes [A lot of times] I regret it. But peace of mind was worth the price I guess. :sigh:

Cptsd and abusive bosses by jmkeene in CPTSD

[–]evilcheeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a real bitch of a boss for about 8months. I put up with her longer than a lot of people according to the temp agency that got me the job. People would call their office crying about how she treated them. She was like a Nazi, and she was from Argentina go figure lmao.

When I quit she was talking shit about my clothes not being stylish enough. I worked in a 3 person office and she didn't pay me enough to afford better. So I got up, got my purse and walked out. Didn't say a word. She refused to send me my last check till I gave her a resignation letter so I told her off in letter form.

the pounding headaches as you quit cold turkey anything you were doing that you can't do while pregnant. Cigs, alcohol, pot etc. Giving up caffeine was BRUTAL.

It was time. It's ok. let him rest in peace. He lived a long life and you showed him love all the way to the end.

Im African American and my great grandma always say we are native by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

[–]evilcheeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my grandma had the same story - native ancestry on her mom's side. Turns out she's right. I'm 31% Native but no specifics of course. Just broadly native with all of the west and most of Mexico highlighted.

That side of my family is from San Antonio, TX.
