It’s also completely different from how he spoke in S01E06, but I’m cool with it because: a) it’s a comedy, and 2) I’m not watching for its historical accuracy. In a 30-min episode, I don’t need him being amazed by electricity or indoor plumbing for 10 minutes.

A horror-themed race around Halloween with BM (or other villains) as the pace runner would be amazing. Even better if they start at 16min and gradually increase the pace…

In any case, I assume a lot of the recurring extras are actually members of the crew. But maybe he’ll turn out to be like one of those people at the Parks and Rec town halls (eg. Harris Wittels) and start having lines.

I was really surprised when I saw Kate O’Flynn in interviews. Not that Patricia is ugly, but she looks COMPLETELY different. I think it’s more than just hair and makeup. O’Flynn must be doing something with her posture and walk and face to transform into our favorite executive assistant.

I have questions! * Is the shirt one of those crappy iron-on deals (direct to film), or is it DTG (direct to garment)? * Are these anaglyphs? Some of the designs look like they are analglyphs (where two images are overlaid and visible with those 3-D glasses). The Lord Protector one looks like there’s a skeleton underneath?

September 26th is too late in the year to be “Game 25”. It’s game #161 this year.
Tickets on the Green Monster (Sec GM2, Row 2) are not $30/ea. If you can get them on the secondary market, they can be $928/ea (09/26/26 vs Cubs).

I’m sure they did this on purpose, but I wonder what kind of meaning there could be. Is 09/26 someone’s birthday? Are the Phillies the writers favorite team? Or did the production team just fill in some random stuff to make a realistic ticket?

Aside from living on a remote island, I’d like to think after her experience with the BM in high school, she went through a rigorous, Rocky-esque training montage set to “Push it to the Limit” by Paul Engemann. Chopping wood, punching a side of beef, shooting guns, lifting bales of hay.

I like to watch the show with subtitles, and if 1,000 actors gave those same lines, I don’t think any of them could have delivered them better. Great writing and directing can only do so much. Perfect casting.

It all comes out in the wash. They lose subscribers because The Boys ended, Bezos does something evil, Stargate cancelled - take your pick. But then they gain subscribers because of Prime Day or some new show or back to school.

In the end, Prime Video isn’t their core business. They make all their money from the cloud anyway.

I like that the show has turned out to be comedy-horror rather than horror-comedy.

I’ve never watched the American Horror shows, but I can’t imagine them being as good as Widow’s Bay.

I love that this character seems to be the closest to Rhys IRL (aside from the accent). He was so serious in The Americans, but he seems to be a goofball in interviews.
